Hillcrest Project Update

Project Update 11-08-2021

Pump station

Due to labor and material shortages, completion of the pump station has been delayed. Demolition of the old pump station is expected to occur in late Spring 2022.

The native seed has successfully rooted and will get its final cut for the season in the coming weeks. We will lay additional seed next spring in areas that are sparse. The seed will continue to fill in over the next few seasons.

Road sweeping

Happy Canyon Road continues to be swept two times per week. We expect to continue this schedule throughout the winter months, with additional sweeping as required.

Work hours

When Saturday work is required, we will continue to use our weekend schedule, with personnel arriving at 7 a.m. and work starting at 8 a.m. We do not anticipate any Sunday work for the foreseeable future. Weekday work hours remain from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Are you interested in publishing a Community Directory with names, phone numbers and email addresses?  Please respond to the office with a yes or no vote.

We continue to evaluate the new trash removal and how often it should be picked up, how many bins are needed and what sizes of bins are needed.  We will need a few more weeks of observation.  Thanks for your patience.

Those of you who use the laundry rooms PLEASE be good neighbors and clean up after yourself and be careful in the use of soaps and detergents. Detergent does NOT belong in the bleach dispenser and is leaving residue on clothes washed after yours.

OUR NEXT COMMUNITY BOARD MEETING WILL BE SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14 AT 3:00 P.M.  We are trying to accommodate as many residents as possible by altering the day and time.  Let’s see how it goes.
