When sourcing new insurance policies we were made aware of the hazards and critical nature of the liability HOA associations face regarding playground equipment. Due to the age and condition of our equipment we had to make the decision to dismantle the equipment. We will discuss options for this space and welcome ideas and comments for consideration.
This project is expected to take 8 to 10 weeks.
We hope to have everything open by the first part of April.
The Game Room and Office will be open.
The Clubhouse will not be available for rent until work is completed.
Access to the grill will be available through the pool gates.
Work on replacing the master switches and meter banks has begun.
Notices will be hung on front doors indicating that your unit will be with out electricity for the day or be without electricity for an hour in the morning and evening. Xcel has to shut down the full transformer to isolate the building being worked on. Once the work is complete the transformer has to be shut down again to bring up the building that was completed.
McBride is trying to give us a schedule a week out but things can change at the last minute. For example yesterday they were to do a building but Xcel had things come up and could not get anyone here to do the transformer so the work got delayed. Weather can also have an effect on what is happening.
When McBride tells us on what building they are going to work, we have a map of transformers and the buildings controlled by what transformer. This is what we use to notify residents as to what is going to happen. Well, this map came from Xcel, but the other morning we found out it is not totally correct. It showed one building connected to a transformer but we found out this building is actually connected to a different transformer.
The main thing is to keep an eye on your front doors for notices as to what we are expecting to happen and how it is affecting you. We are doing our best to keep everyone notified by the information that we receive. Just keep in mind, things can change at the last minute that are out of our control.
Thanks for your understanding!

Following the annual meeting in March, we researched the recycling issue after residents informed us of the overflow problem. With that in mind, we have added an additional pick-up day that should help alleviate the overflow. Recycling pick-up days are now Tuesdays and Fridays. Click here for the list of acceptable items.
